Abbey, I don’t know the AU of which you speak, but I heard this, and all of a sudden I got this mental image of Steve and Tony as Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, with Bucky as Lucius and Peter as Violet and Jaime as Dash and IDK maybe Deadpool or someone as Jack-Jack?. And THEN I got the idea of Rhodey as Lucius’ wife (Honey I think is her name???) and the line “Greater good? I’m the greatest good you ever had!” popped into my head in Rhodey’s voice and it was so flawless I had to tell you about it.

No but the AU I was talking about was that time that I was watching the Incredibles and I texted Olivia “HOW ABOUT THAT TIME when Steve lived later than the ’40s, and was being Captain America around when Tony was a kid, and Tony was really smart and had a huge hero-worship crush and wanted to be his sidekick and built himself repulsor-shoes and tried to intervene in a battle and Steve brushed him off (POSSIBLY BECAUSE BUCKY HAD DIED AND HE WAS ALL *NO MORE SIDEKICKS* OH NO) AND THEN TONY GREW UP
