Last night’s Community featured seven different timelines based on the roll of a die. They led you to believe that the final timeline was the real one, but I don’t believe this to be true. Here’s why.

I don’t think any of the timelines were real. The FINAL scene of the episode, where Abed wakes up next to Troy while Inspector Spacetime is playing in the background, implied that the whole scenario was a dream of his inspired by him thinking too much about timelines and alternate realities while watching the show. The episode has significance for Abed’s character and how he understands the group, but I don’t believe any of the events will really carry over to the next episode.
(Of course, I might be wrong, but it seems like the most logical assumption.)
